Our Story

Live life with Aloha was created and funded by the Vegas Ohana to perpetuate an annual prayer vigil. It is a platform to share their family's situation through poetry, story telling and lamentation without fear of being sued or retaliated against by their persecutors. This helped them cope with the devastations of being flooded four major times in a three-year period. 

It created the opportunity to provide healing and bring awareness on the injustices that they experienced.

 

Their home which was already paid off was demolished and they became homeless. Their struggles to expose the truth and fight for their rights culminated into a charitable non-profit organization, empowering others who may have experienced 

or witnessed injustices that are happening to them or in the community, so they too can begin their healing process.

 

Live Life With Aloha's mission and program goals are to create awareness and help heal the devastations caused by the practices of landlords, corporations, institutions or individuals that are anti-aloha to families and communities and to provide a voice to the "Voiceless". The organization advocates for civil rights, social injustice and to educate the public of Hawaii's "Law of Aloha" and other indigenous practices of aloha in holding those accountable for the injustices.
